I was brought up in Dunfermline by parents, Mike and Moira. I have 2 siblings, a younger sister, Jennifer and older brother, Douglas. I had a good upbringing and enjoyed having my brother and sister around to play with when I was a kid. I have both sets of grandparents, Mary and Dave and Jenny and Jim, who we used to go to during the summer holidays to give mum and dad a break! I enjoyed going up north to Lossiemouth where my Gran and Grandad lived where we would go horse riding, play at the beach, and generally run riot all summer. We would also go away a lot with my Gran and Pop to Tayport to their caravan. Mum, Jennifer and Gran and Pop still live in Dunfermline, Douglas over near Stirling and my Dad up north near my grandparents in Keith. I left Fife in 1998 to go to university in Edinburgh where I achieved ba(hons) Design & Applied Arts at ECA in fashion. I did enjoy the student life and Edinburgh has some great bars, restaurants but most of all it's just a beautiful city to live in. I have lived in the capital since graduating and have thoroughly enjoyed all it has to offer. I met Eoin in 2004 through mutual friends. Eoin made the move from Livingston and we set up here in Edinburgh. Since we have been together have travelled a fair bit including visiting his sister Shelagh in Australia for a year in 2005. We both had such a great time we decided to go back for good. Eoin's parents helped us with the huge visa application which has taken about a year to complete, but its been worth it as we got accepted and are now planning for the move early this year. |
