Fireworks! Where?

Well the fireworks were a bit of a let down, there was so much smoke created from the first fireworks you couldnt see the rest of them! But the smoke did look kind of nice all lit up!

The Castle

Getting Cold

With only 10mins to go the inevitable happened, it started to rain! It is Scotland after all. So with hats on and hoods up we done what we could to keep warm.

Fireworks

We did mange to get one or two pictures of some fireworks. But I don\'t think we are going to win any photography prizes.

Princes Street

The street party is just starting to warm up, there were over 100,000 people in and around Princes Street this year.

Big Screen

There were several big screens doted around the city centre displaying the concert that was taking place in the Gardens. Scottish act Idlewild started the concert followed by Kasabian, who were joined by surprise guest Noel Gallagher of Oasis, and Calvin Harris.

Carlton Hill

There were two displays in Edinburgh this year, the main on at the Castle and another from the top of Carlton Hill.

Princes street had huge screens up so you could watch the bands that were playing in the gardens and get a count down to the bells.
